Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day course)

Who is this course for?

This qualification is designed for anyone who wishes to carry out first aid duties within their workplace. This first aid training can be taken by anyone over the age of 16.

What does the course cover?

The roles and responsibilities of a first aider

Assessing an emergency situation safely

CPR including AED

Managing a choking casualty

Management and Treatment of wounds, shock, burns, scalds and other minor injuries

Timings?

This course is 8 hours of face-to-face training 

Assessment

This course is assessed by the tutor throughout the course with some practical assessments and an assessment paper at the end of the course to confirm understanding of the content of the course.

Certification

Successful learners will receive an Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification which is valid for 3 years.
