About the Course
Who is this course for?
This training course is aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in a workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire marshals and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire.
Learners undertaking this training will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace and will recognise the consequences of fire on any premises.
What does the course cover?
These cover topics that include the responsibilities of employers and employees, hazards and risks, the control of fire risk, principles and practice of fire safety management at work, and the role of the nominated fire marshal.
Timings
This course usually runs for 2-3 hours.
Assessment
This course is assessed by the tutor throughout the course with lots of group discussions and a practical assessment.
Certification
Successful learners will receive a certificate of completion. Refresher training is recommended annually.
